James Mcleman built a steel framed, plastic coated profiled steel shed for me a couple of years ago. High quality job with impressive attention to detail for what I guess was a relatively small job for James. There were some minor snagging items which were dealt with rapidly and in a very professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend James to anyone looking for well built, weathertight and economic buildings in either remote or easily accessible sites.
I found James very helpful when planning my building which although not huge was intended to be erected in a position which was challenging to access and weather conditions. James went patiently through all the options and presented a clear plan and competitive costings. It took me a while to get to base sorted before I could give the go ahead. This was in the middle of 2020 and accommodation was very difficult to arrange due to covid rules but that didn’t stop James, he organised a caravan and soon had everything delivered to the site. We get some of the wildest weather here on the North West of Skye and you can see the inner structure that supports this shed. It’s as strong as they come. I’ve been really pleased with the final product, in fact I love this shed and certainly recommend the company.
The shed pictured above was built at my house circa September last year. It was built by James McLeman of Highland Steel Buildings. The build quality is very good as is it’s integrity, it has survived some VERY severe storms during this winter. I live in a very exposed location at the top of a hill near the NE village of St. Fergus Aberdeenshire. The shed was ordered, delivered and erected on time. James was on site at all times from start to finish. I would certainly recommend Highland Steel Buildings to anyone.
